BREAKING: Survivors of the missile attack that killed 6 Americans say Hegseth is LYING – it wasn’t a lucky shot, they were completely unprepared to defend themselves thanks to Trump’s incompetence!

CBS News reports that survivors of an attack on a U.S. base in Kuwait, which resulted in six American deaths and more than twenty injuries, are disputing statements made by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth regarding the circumstances of the strike.

According to the report, one injured service member rejected the description that a missile “squeaked” through defenses, calling that account inaccurate and stating that the unit was not adequately prepared or equipped to respond effectively. The soldier said the position lacked proper defensive fortification and was not a hardened facility capable of resisting aerial attack.

They added that personnel had been deployed closer to Iran into what they described as a highly vulnerable area that was previously identified as a potential target without sufficient explanation for the decision.

According to CBS the survivor described minimal protection consisting primarily of vertical blast barriers which provided limited cover from overhead threats. The service member characterized the defenses as inadequate stating there was effectively no drone defense capability and very limited structural protection overall.

In contrast a statement attributed to Defense officials asserted that all necessary precautions had been taken to protect personnel and that the installation included reinforced protective structures including six foot walls. Officials maintained that security measures were in place and designed to reduce risk from missile or drone attacks.

The differing accounts highlight ongoing debate about the preparedness of forward deployed U.S. forces and the adequacy of defensive infrastructure in high risk regions. The incident is expected to be subject to further review as additional information becomes available from military investigations and independent reporting.

At present there is no publicly verified independent assessment confirming the precise sequence of events during the attack or the effectiveness of specific defensive systems in operation at the time. Military analysts note that investigations of this type typically involve after action reviews examining intelligence warnings command decisions and on site defensive readiness. Such reviews can take weeks or months to complete depending on classification levels and operational complexity. Until those findings are released publicly or summarized by official sources the public record remains based on partial and sometimes conflicting accounts. Additional context may emerge as congressional oversight committees request briefings and review classified operational reports related to the incident with potential implications for future deployment planning and
