Mexican president states that Trump is not..

World leaders responded swiftly after Donald Trump announced that the United States had carried out airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, including the heavily fortified Fordo Fuel Enrichment Plant. Trump described the operation as a “very successful attack” and framed it as a decisive moment for global security.

Posting on the social platform Truth Social, Trump called the strikes a historic milestone for the United States, Israel, and the wider international community. He also urged Iran to agree to end the conflict, suggesting that the military action could force negotiations or de-escalation. The announcement quickly drew strong reactions around the world. Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, condemned the strikes in a message posted on X. He described the attacks as outrageous and warned that they would have long-lasting consequences.

Araghchi said Iran “reserves all options” when deciding how to respond. He argued that the strikes represented dangerous and unlawful behavior that should concern every member of the United Nations. Citing the UN Charter, he stated that Iran has the right to defend itself and would take any necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, national interests, and citizens.
