🚨🚨JD Vance with tears in their eyes make the sad announcement

The United Kingdom reacted with strong condemnation following Vice President Vance’s controversial comments, which were perceived as disrespectful towards allied forces. British veterans and military personnel were swift to highlight the immense sacrifice of 636 British soldiers who lost their lives in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Prominent figures such as veterans Johnny Mercer and Andy McNab voiced their disapproval, alongside former military leaders Lord West and General Sir Patrick Sanders, who underscored the profound bonds and shared sacrifices between the UK and the U.S., emphasizing their collaborative history and mutual respect.

The criticism resonated deeply within UK political circles. Shadow Defense Secretary James Cartlidge labeled Vance’s remarks as “deeply disrespectful,” emphasizing Britain’s significant military contributions. Former Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and other Members of Parliament (MPs) joined the chorus, urging Vance to acknowledge the collective history and sacrifices shared by British and American forces. Prime Minister Keir Starmer further reinforced the nation’s pride in its military’s past sacrifices and stressed the vital importance of mutual respect among allies. Faced with mounting backlash, Vice President Vance attempted to clarify his position, stating his comments were not aimed specifically at the UK or France, but rather at nations without recent battlefield experience. This clarification, however, has ignited a broader discussion on the critical need for diplomatic sensitivity when addressing the invaluable contributions of long-standing allies.
