Iran-Backed Houthi Forces Now 20 Miles Away From U.S. Military Base In Djibouti Read…More Below…

Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen have reportedly moved to within roughly 20 miles of a major U.S. military base in Djibouti after making significant territorial gains along the strategically important Red Sea coast.

The advance has raised fresh concerns about the security of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints. The narrow passage connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden and serves as a major route for commercial shipping traveling between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Tensions in the region have intensified following a series of coordinated drone and missile attacks attributed to the Houthis, including strikes targeting infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The attacks reportedly caused property damage and left civilians injured near the Saudi-Yemeni border.

As the conflict escalates, international shipping companies and global energy traders are closely monitoring developments. Concerns are growing that further military advances or threats of blockades could disrupt commercial vessels and shipments moving through the Red Sea.

The Houthis have continued issuing warnings against Saudi energy facilities and maritime traffic, increasing fears of broader disruptions to one of the world’s most important trade and energy corridors.
