Araghchi described the U.S. action as “extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior,” accusing Washington of violating the UN Charter. “In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interests, and people,” he stated.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the strikes, congratulating Trump for a “bold decision” that he said would “change history” by denying Iran nuclear weapons.
