Bill Clinton’s daughter has broken her silence

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton offered a reassuring update on his health Wednesday, saying he expects to remain active “for a lot longer” after being hospitalized with sepsis last week. In a video shared on Twitter, Clinton expressed gratitude for the support he received during his hospital stay. “Hi everyone, I was so touched by the outpouring of support I received during my stay in the hospital. Thanks so much,” he said.

He also thanked the medical team at UC Irvine Medical Center for their care. “I’d also like to thank the doctors and nurses… for the absolutely wonderful care that they gave me over the last seven days,” he added.

Clinton emphasized his determination to continue contributing in the years ahead. “I, for one, am going to do my best to be around, to keep doing the most good I can, for a lot longer,” he said.

According to an aide who spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity, Clinton had been suffering from a urological infection that spread into his bloodstream. However, the aide noted that his condition never progressed to septic shock.

Doctors confirmed that his condition has improved significantly. His fever has subsided, and his white blood cell count has returned to normal levels. He is expected to return to New York to complete a course of antibiotics.

In the video, Clinton said he was already feeling much better. “I am really glad to be back home. I’m doing great, enjoying this beautiful fall weather. I’m on the road to recovery,” he said.

He also offered a broader message, urging people to pay attention to their health. “Take the time to listen to your bodies and care for yourselves,” he advised, stressing that everyone has an important role to play in life.
